MID CENTURY/SPANISH BACKYARD RETREAT

Although spacious and well kept, this was otherwise a severely underutilized backyard with nowhere to hang out.  Old driveway was literally in pieces and a hazard to walk on. Once in the yard, the owners didn't really know where to.. well.. stand... and would shortly go back inside. If this sounds familiar, please don't waste anymore time and let me give you a fantastic outdoor space you will enjoy before the summer.

I'm so lucky this awesome client trusted me completely with their property, from layout design, through the construction, to final touches, furniture and accessories.

Working closely with my crew from E.T. Construction, we executed the plan smoothly, perfectly and fast.

In less than a month (YEP!), three new stunning hang out zones and a spectacular driveway were created.

New spacious concrete landing with pergola and beautiful tiled stairs, replaced a diy wooden steps off of the master bedroom. Just imagine stepping out of bed to enjoy a cup of coffee on the gorgeous modern porch! How is that for life changing design.

In the middle of the yard there is now a dedicated fire pit area, in a naturally flowing shape hugged by the existing garden, filled with specifically chosen orange toned pebbles that sparkle in the sun.

Last but not least, we reach the party deck! Huge new beautiful slab with a minimalistic cedar pergola and crisp white shade sail spread over what looks like a mid century modern boutique resort, with privacy faux greenery fence and custom mural.

Did I mention the spanking new, widened and smartly redesigned driveway? ;)
