THE FOUNDER

Hello! Paulina Friedel here, how are you doing?

I am a DESIGNER of all things! Passionately obsessed with colors, layouts, textures, light, interior design, DIY and power tools, I have always been involved in remodeling projects for friends and family. Eventually, I purchased my very own fixer-upper in Los Angeles – right before becoming a mom! 

For my own home as well as others, I love to be hands-on, whether it is a small DIY project or the full construction of a brand new building, and from foundation to finishing touches and décor. During the pandemic, I relied on my local West Adams community and came to appreciate my beautifully designed home and yard like never before. 

Having a functional, joy filled space (especially the backyard!) to gather with those I love, truly SAVED me and my family in 2020, which is why I decided to officially leave my 20 year long career in graphic design to start PUNIAF.design. Now I can fully share my HGTV home makeover and MacGyver-level problem-solving skills with more people, right here in the community I love so much.

 I am incredibly lucky to have a great relationship with builder extraordinaire, Erlin Torres. He brings over 25 years of experience to every project and having worked with him and his crew for over 11 years, we can confidently tackle any project, no matter the size or scope, working together in a design & build fashion.

Creating well designed, functional spaces, filled with personality and happiness is my specialty,
